About the role
With us you get an assignment with both depth and breadth - you work with advanced automation, electrical design and industrial IT in projects spanning the process, production and manufacturing industries. You will have a central role in our deliveries, where we develop complete systems for control, monitoring and design of equipment and facilities.
We are looking for you who want to take on technical leadership, drive improvements and be a competence resource for both customers and colleagues. At Prevas you get great freedom, influence over your assignments and the opportunity to grow in step with our projects.
Your main duties
As a senior electrical and automation engineer you will:
Lead and carry out projects in electrical, control and regulation technology - from design to commissioning.
Develop and optimise control systems based on PLC, HMI and SCADA platforms (ABB 800xA, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley and others).
Be responsible for electrical documentation, design and integration between electrics, control systems and mechanics.
Support customers with technical analyses, requirements specification and troubleshooting.
Act as a technical sounding board and mentor within your area of competence.
Our assignments cover several industries - from the automotive and robotics industry to energy, process and mining.
Who are you?
You have a solid background in automation and/or electrical design, with at least 7-10 years' experience from similar roles. You have a relevant engineering education and a deep understanding of industrial systems, processes and technical flows.
We believe you have experience of:
PLC and HMI programming, preferably several makes
Electrical design and documentation in modern CAD tools
Control engineering, instrumentation and dimensioning
Technical project management or design management
As a person you are analytical, responsible and unpretentious. You thrive in a consultant role, collaborate easily and are driven by creating value for the customer.
