Mission

Integrated into the instrumentation team and under the responsibility of the department head, you will be in charge of the following activities:

• Defining the instrumentation (pre-calculations: control valves, thermowells, orifice plates, …)

• Requisitioning and specifying equipment (sensors, actuators, digital systems) for the site and the specifications in line with the technical requirements of the projects.

• Contributing to the preparation of deliverables and tasks such as:

  • Technical specifications for instruments and packages, instrument data sheets, P&ID

  • Functional analysis,

  • Instrument and cable lists…

• Analysis of offers and preparation of a comparison,

• Management and follow-up of vendor documentation,

• Take part in design reviews, safety (HAZOP) and safety documents (Logic diagram or C&E Matrix),

• Define, within your discipline, the methods and tools necessary for the smooth running of the project,

• Communicate with the project team, other engineering disciplines and the client,

• Management of the instrumentation team: establish the schedule of activities and the mobilisation plan

• Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and estimates,

You are responsible for the quality of your studies and those of a small team of technicians or engineers whose work you can organise on the project.

You contribute to the development of the department's technical framework based on the consolidation of your feedback.

Profile

With a degree in instrumentation engineering or equivalent, you have a first experience in engineering within the discipline or within an oil industry equipment manufacturer.

Knowledge of communication networks and telecom equipment is a plus.

Knowledge of electricity is appreciated.

Fluency in English is essential.

Autonomy, rigour and teamwork skills are success factors for this position.
