IT System Engineer - Experienced Profile (7 years' minimum experience)

Profile sought Technical skills

• Systems: Windows Server and workstations, Exchange 2019, SQL Server 2016

• Directory: multi-site Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO)

• Virtualisation: VMware vSphere (v6 and above) in multi-site cluster, Hyper-V (2012 and above) in multi-site cluster, high availability, vMotion, DRS, synchronous replication

• Desktops and applications: VDI, RDS 2016 / 2019 (RDS farm), failover cluster, Microsoft Network Load Balancing

• Storage: SAN, iSCSI with replication, NAS

• Backup: Arcserve, Veeam or equivalent

• Security and monitoring: McAfee ePO (or equivalent), WSUS, VCOPS

• Network: TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, LAN

Interpersonal skills and aptitudes

Languages

• English mandatory, STANAG 6001 SLP 3333 level or equivalent

• 7 years' experience in IT, including 5 years in information systems

• design and management of complex IT infrastructures
