(Senior) Consultant - Regulatory Reporting

The Role

As a (Senior) Consultant - Regulatory Reporting, you advise our clients on the analysis, design and optimisation of regulatory reporting processes. You take a central role in implementing regulatory requirements and work closely with business units, Operations, IT and management.

Your Responsibilities

• Advising our clients on the analysis, design and optimisation of transaction-based regulatory reporting processes (EMIR REFIT, MiFIR/MiFID II and SFTR)
• Professional assessment of regulatory changes and derivation of sustainable implementation measures for processes, data landscapes and system landscapes
• Preparation and coordination of functional concepts, requirements and target processes in close collaboration with business units, Operations and IT
• Support in transformation, implementation and optimisation projects, as well as accompanying the introduction and further development of reporting solutions
• Ensuring high data quality by defining and developing governance, control and validation processes

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in transaction-based regulatory reporting in a banking or capital markets environment, with solid knowledge of EMIR REFIT, MiFIR/MiFID II and SFTR
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end reporting process, including data capture, enrichment, validation, submission, error handling and reconciliation
• Practical experience with Nasdaq AxiomSL and Regnology Abacus Transactions and their functional design or further development
• Experience in regulatory transformation or implementation projects, and a strong ability to present complex regulatory matters in an audience-appropriate way
• Experience in defining functional requirements for regulatory reporting solutions
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written, and a high willingness to travel

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern data quality and governance frameworks
• Experience in stakeholder management at management and project leadership level
• Consulting experience with international banks or financial services providers
• Experience in agile project methods and interdisciplinary teams
