About the role

Translated into English from French by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

Attached to the calculation team and working on Important Equipment for Protection (EIP / AIP), your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Carry out the finite element justification of mechanical supports (modal analysis, stresses, buckling, deflection, welds, bolting, concrete anchorages).

  • Write the associated calculation notes in compliance with quality formalities and the applicable reference codes (RCC-M/X, Eurocodes, CODAP, FEM).

  • Handle technical deviations (changes to acceleration spectra, dimensional non-conformities, pull-out cones).

  • Ensure the verification and technical control (CT ACQ) of the calculation notes produced within the team.

  • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior calculation engineers.

  • Actively take part in resolving technical "hard points" in liaison with the end client.

Required profile

  • Education & Experience: Holding a higher education qualification (Bac+5 / engineering school / university), you have a solid experience of at least 10 years as a mechanical calculation engineer.

  • Essential technical skills:

    • Imperative mastery of ANSYS software (calculations of welded or bolted structures).

    • In-depth knowledge of the nuclear sector and associated codes/standards (RCC-M/X, Eurocodes).

    • Knowledge of the PROFIS ANCHOR (HILTI) tool would be an advantage.

  • Personal qualities:

  • Excellent analytical, synthesis and writing skills.

  • Initiative and rigour in the face of high safety requirements.

Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and a passion for supporting less experienced colleagues.

All our positions are open to people recognised as disabled workers.
