Why this is the job for you
Do you want to lead complex product development and be a strategic partner for some of our most technology-intensive customers?
We are looking for a very senior project/programme manager who has the ability to take a holistic perspective and deliver results in complex organisations. You are confident working at the highest level, in dialogue with management teams and C-level, while also able to turn strategy into concrete execution.
At Knightec Group you will lead strategically important initiatives in product development for customers in, for example, automotive, defence, life science or equivalent industries. Assignments may include projects, programmes and portfolios where you have the opportunity to influence direction, ways of working and results.
The role suits you if you thrive at the intersection of strategy, technology, business and leadership. You build trust with our customers, drive work forward and create structure even when conditions are complex and changing. You will also become an important part of our own development, where we value senior expertise, knowledge sharing and leadership that inspires others.
Within our business area Compliance & Management we help our customers enable a smooth transition towards digital, sustainable and secure solutions. Through expertise in areas such as quality, security and leadership, we create the conditions for development while strengthening efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities
As a senior project/programme manager you will have overall responsibility for leading complex initiatives in product development. You work both strategically and operationally and adapt your leadership to the customer's needs and situation.
In the role you will, among other things:
Lead complex projects, programmes and portfolios within product development.
Work closely with C-level, management teams and other senior decision-makers and act as a strategic adviser and partner.
Establish and develop governance, decision structures and ways of working for projects and programmes.
Drive strategic issues from target picture and prioritisation through to execution and realised results.
Manage complex stakeholder management and create alignment between different functions, organisations and stakeholders.
Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities and ensure that the right decisions are made at the right time.
Lead change and create momentum in organisations with many dependencies and high demands on quality and delivery.
Build long-term relationships with customers and be a trust-building representative for Knightec Group.
Contribute your experience and leadership to the development of our project managers, consultants and teams.
You are expected to move between strategic advisory, programme management and operational project governance and always keep the customer's business and long-term goals in focus.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a solid background in project and programme management and who for several years have been responsible for complex product development initiatives, preferably in technology-intensive industries.
You are used to working at senior level and have experience of leading through others, managing complex stakeholder landscapes and delivering results in organisations where many perspectives and priorities need to be weighed together.
To be right for the role, we believe that you:
Have extensive experience of leading complex projects and programmes, preferably within product development in automotive, defence or other technology-intensive industry.
Have experience of programme management, portfolio governance and strategic project management.
Are used to working closely with C-level and management teams and can communicate effectively with decision-makers at the highest level.
Have strong competence in stakeholder management, governance and change management.
Have the ability to see the whole picture and connect product development, technology, operations and business.
Are comfortable with both traditional and agile project models and can adapt ways of working to situation and organisation.
Have an engineering degree or equivalent technical academic background.
Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
Are a strong relationship builder and a calm and trustworthy leader who creates momentum even in complex situations.
Have a strong consultative approach and enjoy taking responsibility for the customer's challenges from strategic level through to execution.
Have a natural ability to challenge, inspire and develop both customers and colleagues.
It is meritorious if you have experience of Compliance and implementation of regulatory requirements.
This is a role for you who want to use your experience at the highest level - as a strategic adviser, project/programme manager and role model - and at the same time help develop both our customers and Knightec Group.
