AI & IT Lead

About the role
LBS AB builds, operates and maintains electrical power infrastructure: switchgear, battery storage and power grids. We are now creating a role that has not existed with us before. You will have a mandate to streamline and automate work across the whole company with AI as a tool, and at the same time you own our IT environment. The role reports directly to the CEO.

Our starting point is that most of the recurring work in a company like ours can be automated or carried out with the support of AI, in all parts of the business. We are looking for someone who has already built such things and wants to do it at scale.

What we want to achieve

• A company where recurring work is handled by systems, so that employees spend their time on what requires judgement, technical expertise and relationships.

• A company that can grow turnover and the number of projects sharply without administration growing at the same pace.

• All systems connected to a shared data foundation, so that decisions are made on current data rather than on manually compiled reports.

• Knowledge that today sits with individual employees gathered in the systems, so that the business is never dependent on one person - not even on you.

Where you start is decided together with the CEO, and everything is prioritised by business value and cost effect. Parts of the information we handle are covered by security protection, and that protection must be in place before any AI solution is given access to our systems. Once that is done, the pace is high: the first solutions should be in live operation within 30 days.

What it could look like

• A tender that today takes weeks of work is produced in hours, with support from everything we have learned in previous tenders and projects.

• Finance is handled by systems all the way from invoice to year-end accounts, while employees review, analyse and make decisions.

• Each project is managed from tender to handover in its own operational system that replaces Jira and that you own and build. Schedule, finances, documentation and risks are updated automatically, and deviations are flagged before they become problems.

• The facilities we operate for our customers are monitored from the operations centre, with AI that interprets alarms, predicts faults and produces reports and suggested solutions.

• AI agents support every employee in day-to-day work, whether the work concerns tenders, projects, finance, personnel, contracts or operations.

The examples above are a fraction of what we envisage. You drive the development, propose what should be built next and set priorities together with the CEO.

Full IT operations
You are responsible for the IT environment at LBS AB: Microsoft 365, devices, software, licences, support, backup, security and IT policies. Operations are currently handled partly by an external supplier; you take these over, automate them as far as possible and document them so that they can be run by more than you. You also ensure that we meet the information security requirements that follow from laws, regulations and our customer agreements.

Who we are looking for

• You have built automations, integrations with APIs or AI solutions that are used in real life, and you can show them.

• You have experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID and can take over operations immediately, but it is the building that draws you here.

• You understand how sensitive information is protected when AI is used, and you build so that it never ends up in the wrong system.

• You enjoy untangling large volumes of unstructured material, for example several years of tender archives in mixed formats.

• You document everything and place it in the company's environment, so that the solutions work even when you are not there.

• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

• You do not need long work experience. We assess what you can demonstrate, not titles or certificates.
