About the role
We are looking for a senior embedded developer who thrives in the consultant role and wants to work on exciting projects within the manufacturing industry and other technology-intensive areas, often with a focus on connected products and wireless communication.

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 7 years' experience of software development for embedded systems.
  

• Are confident across the whole development chain, from requirements and architecture to implementation and finished product.
  

• Code in C and/or C++ (Python is a plus).
  

• Thrive in the consultant role and appreciate the variety between projects, customers and technology areas.
  

• Have strong self-motivation and natural curiosity, while valuing collaboration.
  

• Work close to the hardware and have a good understanding of the interplay between hardware, firmware and application.
  

• Have experience of, or are curious about, Linux-based systems, Zephyr RTOS or Qt/QML (meritorious).
  

• Have an interest in connected products, for example Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa or similar.
  

• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently.

Your role as a consultant

• Work on design, implementation and verification of embedded software in complex systems.
  

• Take technical responsibility in assignments, often in close collaboration with the customer's team.
  

• Share knowledge and inspire others, both at the customer and internally at Ictech.
  

• Build entirely new products or further develop existing solutions.
