Deputy Medical Director
Doktor.De
Required skills
About the role
Translated into English from German by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
This is you:
Do you want to not only apply modern medicine but actively shape it?
As deputy medical director (m/w/d) at our MVZ havenmed in Wilhelmshaven, you support the Medical Director, deputise for them in their absence, and shape the further development of our sites together with them and the management team.
You are a team player, bring your experience to the table, pass it on to colleagues and set new impulses for our everyday practice.
For this position we are looking for you full-time, starting immediately.
This is us:
At Doktor.De we believe that good medicine needs both: the practice around the corner and digital solutions that make care easier for everyone.
Our roots are in Sweden, where modern technology is firmly established in healthcare. We use this knowledge to develop each of our practices in Germany step by step.
We want to make processes simpler, relieve staff in everyday practice and provide the best possible care for patients: for acute complaints as well as from a long-term perspective.
To do this, we rely on a strong sense of togetherness. And on smart tools to create more room for what matters: us people and our health.
These are your tasks:
You deputise for the Medical Director in their absence with all the powers required for this and support them in the medical leadership of our MVZ, including professional responsibility for correct KV billing and representing the sites to the KV Niedersachsen and relevant authorities.
You work as a general practitioner and ensure high-quality, patient-centred care at both sites, serving as a role model in quality, communication and organisation.
You work closely with the Medical Director and the management team, coordinate regularly and contribute to transparent reporting of relevant medical key figures.
You continuously secure and develop quality standards, quality management (QM) and hygiene in the MVZ and embed them in everyday practice.
You support the professional leadership and development of the medical and non-medical team, create clear structures and a motivating way of working together, and take on an active role model function. You accompany and develop trainee doctors through structured training, reliable supervision and individual support.
This is your profile:
You are a specialist in general practice or internal medicine (general practice), ideally with authorisation to train or the willingness to obtain it.
You have several years of outpatient experience (practice/MVZ) and are confident with the KV regulations/EBM.
You bring your knowledge with passion into daily patient care and put patient satisfaction and service orientation first.
You see practice management as active shaping: efficiently optimise processes, improve structures and deploy resources sensibly.
You have leadership skills and an understanding of QM, or a strong willingness to get up to speed quickly.
You drive digital solutions forward, implement them in a practical way and ideally have good English skills.
You are well organised, work reliably and value close teamwork as well as direct contact with patients.
You stand out through strong social and communication skills and bring patients, colleagues and cooperation partners effectively along with you.
This is what we offer:
Responsibility with room to shape
You take on the medical leadership role and actively help shape the development of your site.
Support in everyday practice
Our central teams support you in areas including personnel, finance, legal, data protection and marketing.
Exchange and development
Take part in annual network meetings with our parent company in Sweden, exchange ideas in cross-site leadership circles and develop your professional and personal skills.
Individual support
We support your further training with five paid training days and an annual training budget of 1,000 euros. In addition, there are offers for personal development and coaching.
Comprehensive benefits
You can expect performance-based pay, 30 days of holiday and a subsidised company pension scheme.
