Our expertise is diversified, and you?

You will join the Road Networks Centre of Excellence and your main mandate will be to take part in site supervision as a supervising officer, which consists of monitoring the execution of the general contractor's work against schedules and the verifications/validations required on site for road infrastructure works.

Your challenges

• Ensure the supervision of site works for road and municipal projects, making sure standards, contractual requirements and health and safety rules are respected.

• Monitor the progress of works against the established schedule and report any situation that may affect deadlines, costs or quality.

• Write the daily site reports, including documentation of the works carried out, resources deployed and particular events.

• Verify that the executed works comply with the plans and specifications, as well as with all applicable contractual documents.

• Work closely with the office supervision team to ensure effective coordination and good progress of projects.

• Take part in resolving technical issues on site and make recommendations when required.

• Carry out any other related task connected with road project supervision and management.

Our essentials

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant supervision experience;

• Experience on projects with the Ministère des transports du Québec (MTQ) (an asset)

• Good theoretical and technical knowledge in the field of road engineering

• Hold the ASP Construction certificate for the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites course

• Command of French, both spoken and written

• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative

• Good time and priority management, within a multidisciplinary team environment

• Be recognised for your rigour and integrity

• Mobility required to travel between different sites
