As part of our growth and to meet the needs of one of our major key account clients, we are looking for a L3 Network & Security Expert, specialised in firewalling and microsegmentation, to join an engineering team working on critical production infrastructures.
Main responsibilitiesProvide Level 3 technical support and support N2 teams in resolving complex incidents.
Ensure operational and security maintenance (MCO/MCS) of firewalling infrastructures.
Take part in projects to evolve infrastructures, address obsolescence and remediate vulnerabilities.
Design and propose technical solutions, prepare costings and ensure their configuration and integration.
Work on microsegmentation environments and contribute to their evolution.
Carry out technical analyses and troubleshooting in demanding production environments.
Write and maintain architecture documents and operating procedures.
Take part in on-call duties and interventions outside working hours (HNO).
Technical skills
Expertise in firewalling: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point and/or Forcepoint.
Proficiency in microsegmentation solutions: VMware NSX-T and/or Guardicore.
Knowledge of Kubernetes environments.
Strong networking skills: LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN and network protocols.
Knowledge of security solutions: Proxy, Reverse Proxy, WAF.
Proficiency with network equipment: switches, routers and load balancers.
Scripting, automation and certificate management skills.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and compliance requirements (notably PCI).
Interpersonal skills and aptitudes
Excellent analytical, diagnostic and complex incident resolution skills.
Autonomy, rigour and a sense of responsibility.
Ability to work in critical production environments.
Team spirit and ability to support support teams.
Professional English.
Experience and education
Senior profile with solid experience in network and security engineering.
Significant experience in N3 support and operating firewalling infrastructures.
Experience in complex environments with high availability constraints.
