About the role
Translated into English from Dutch by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
Noise
At NOISE you work for top commercial clients such as Albert Heijn and Nestlé, and on social campaigns for, for example, the Dutch national government and Verpact. We are a full-service creative agency with 75 colleagues in Amsterdam and want to belong to the creative elite with our work. As Client Services Director you become one of the key people in the agency: you are ultimately responsible for a number of our most important clients.
You build long-term partnerships, see where the growth lies and make sure it comes. You steer on strategy, finance and the long term. In addition, you are a coaching leader: you let your own account team grow and take your clients to a higher level commercially and in terms of content.
This is what you will do:
Ultimately responsible for (a number of) our clients.
Build long-term client relationships. You are the trusted discussion partner of marketing directors and think along about their brand and their business.
Expand the business with clients. You recognise opportunities, turn them into proposals and make sure we grow along with our clients.
Draw up annual strategies and budgets. Together with the client you determine the direction, the planning and the way of working together.
Make and monitor financial agreements. Retainers, rates and menu prices: you make sure it is right, for the client and for NOISE.
Lead and coach your own account team. You stimulate the account managers and account directors in your team, give direction and help them develop further.
A leadership role with impact. You report to the MD and think along about the commercial and strategic growth of NOISE.
This is what you bring:
Extensive experience in client service or account management at a (creative) agency, including a number of years in an ultimately responsible role.
Experience with large clients and budgets. You have managed accounts of comparable size and know how to grow a client relationship.
Strategic insight. You look beyond the next project and translate the client's goals into a clear approach.
Strong financial and analytical skills. You are at home with budgets, margins and pricing models and dare to have that conversation.
Ambassador for the agency. You are the face of NOISE to your clients and convincingly communicate our work and our ambition.
Enjoy leading and mentoring. You make time for your team, give honest feedback and help others get better.
This is where you will end up:
A renowned agency with appealing clients. From retail campaigns to social behaviour change. The assignments are broad and intellectually challenging.
A flat, down-to-earth organisation. We love our craft.
A shared ambition. You work with the MT on the growth of the agency, strong client relationships and more visibility for our work.
This is what we offer:
👌 Excellent terms of employment, both primary and secondary.
🤙 An informal organisational structure with short lines of communication.
🏢 An inspiring working environment in the Houthavens, one of Amsterdam's creative hotspots.
🏋️♀️ Sport and exercise thanks to an Urban Sports Club subscription.
🚲 Sustainable mobility solutions via Swapfiets or Lease a Bike, with a financial contribution from NOISE.
❤️🩹 Support for mental wellbeing through unlimited access to the online platform Well Aware.
🍲 A fresh lunch every day, with a varied range of international cuisines.
🚅 Good travel facilities, with the choice of an NS Business Card or a parking space in the garage.
🏠 Flexible working wherever possible, with the emphasis on collaboration and creativity in the office.
🍻 Room for connection and team spirit during our weekly Thursday afternoon drinks.
🫶 Social commitment as a supporter of JINC, which works for equal opportunities for children and young people in the labour market.
