Senior Network & Systems Supervision Expert - Zabbix / Spectrum Expert

ABGi Technology is recruiting on behalf of its client, a large industrial group in the energy sector, for its future Senior Network & Systems Supervision Expert - Zabbix / Spectrum Expert, based in Lyon.

🔎 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a structuring programme around the supervision, operation and continuous improvement of critical industrial environments, our client wishes to strengthen its teams with a Senior / Expert profile specialising in Zabbix and Spectrum solutions.

You will work on supervision platforms at the heart of sensitive infrastructures, with strong challenges around availability, reliability, performance, security and service continuity.

Your role will be to ensure the deployment, administration, evolution and maintenance in operational condition of supervision solutions, while bringing your expertise to the handling of complex incidents and the continuous improvement of tools.

The missions required of you:

• Deploy, install, configure and administer the Zabbix and Spectrum supervision platforms;

• Ensure the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) and securing of the platforms;

• Take part in technical evolutions, version upgrades and optimisation of supervision environments;

• Integrate network, systems, telecoms and industrial equipment into supervision;

• Build, configure and evolve supervision rules, alert thresholds and control mechanisms;

• Work on a large scope of approximately 16,000 supervised devices;

• Analyse, diagnose and resolve complex level 3 (N3) incidents;

• Provide advanced technical support to operations teams;

• Take part in the continuous improvement of supervision tools and practices;

• Develop or maintain operational and administration scripts in Python and Bash;

• Automate technical operations using Ansible;

• Operate and administer Linux RHEL environments and the PostgreSQL databases associated with the platforms;

• Produce and maintain technical documentation: DAT, operating procedures, technical guides, test plans, architecture documentation;

• Take part in technical workshops with the various teams concerned;

• Support users and update the tracking and management tools associated with the activities.

🎯 OUR REQUIREMENTS

Required skills and experience:

• Proven expertise in Zabbix: architecture, installation, configuration, administration, operation and API;

• Proven expertise in Spectrum: architecture, installation, configuration, administration and operation;

• Significant experience in the deployment and MCO of supervision platforms;

• Good command of PostgreSQL;

• Very good skills in Linux RHEL;

• Mastery of Python and Bash scripting;

• Good practice of automation with Ansible;

• Experience in integrating and supervising technical equipment in a complex environment;

• Experience in handling complex N3 incidents;

• Ability to write clear, structured and usable technical documents;

• Essential experience in a critical industrial environment.

The following skills are real assets:

• Knowledge or practice of Grafana, Rconfig and Netscout;

• Good understanding of network, systems and telecoms environments;

• Knowledge of large-scale supervision challenges;

• Experience in contexts with strong demands for availability, security and service continuity.

👤 PROFILE SOUGHT

With a Bac+2 to Bac+5 qualification in IT, systems, networks or an equivalent field, you can demonstrate significant experience in administration, architecture or supervision expertise roles.

You have a genuine Senior / Expert level on Zabbix and Spectrum solutions, and you are able to work on deployment, configuration, administration, advanced support, automation as well as technical documentation.

You are recognised for your:

• Rigour and sense of organisation;

• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation;

• Quality of oral and written communication;

• Comfort in an environment requiring technical English;

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with different contacts.

Experience in a demanding industrial environment, particularly in the energy, critical infrastructure, transport or industry sectors, will be a real advantage.

Your technical expertise, analytical skills and rigour will be essential assets to succeed in this role.
