About the role
Translated into English from Swedish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
Would you like to use your cybersecurity experience to make a real impact for clients while helping to build a specialist firm with high ambitions?
At Polar Point you won't be just one consultant among many. You will become an important part of a growing cybersecurity firm where senior expertise, trust, clarity and real client value guide how we work.
We work closely with CISOs, IT leaders and security teams to help organisations strengthen their resilience, reduce risk and gain better control over their digital environments. Our work combines strategic advisory, practical delivery and long-term client relationships.
As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity, you will have the opportunity to influence both our clients' security journeys and the continued development of Polar Point. You will work on meaningful assignments, contribute to our services and help build a firm where technical quality, clarity and responsibility are central parts of the delivery.
Many of our assignments are carried out in Swedish-speaking client environments, for example within the public sector and larger organisations where Swedish is the main working language. The role therefore requires you to work professionally in Swedish, both spoken and written, including in advisory work, meetings, documentation, decision support, reporting and ongoing client dialogue.
Here you will work closely with experienced colleagues, founders and decision-makers. You will not only deliver client assignments, but also help shape how we develop our services, ways of working and long-term client relationships.
About Polar Point
Polar Point AB is a Stockholm-based cybersecurity consultancy that helps Nordic organisations create clarity, control and progress in complex security environments.
We work with clients who need senior advisory, practical delivery capability and a partner that can combine strategic perspective with concrete delivery. Our assignments cover, among other things, identity and access, endpoint security, vulnerability management, security platforms, compliance, security reviews, AI security and project-based cybersecurity delivery.
We are independent, pragmatic and results-oriented. Our ambition is to be a trusted partner for organisations that want to reduce cyber risk, strengthen operational resilience and achieve real security improvement over time.
Because our clients often operate in environments with high demands for clear communication, documentation and buy-in, professional communication skills in Swedish are an important part of the role.
About the role
As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity at Polar Point, you will have a central role in delivering qualified cybersecurity services to our clients while contributing to the development of our consultancy business.
You combine deep technical understanding with advisory ability and business awareness. In practice, this means you can move between strategic discussions with client leadership, solution design together with technical teams and practical delivery in complex client environments.
You act as a trusted adviser, lead important security initiatives and help clients prioritise improvements that reduce risk and strengthen security maturity. You also contribute to business development in a consultative way by identifying client needs, shaping new assignments and developing services that create measurable value.
An important part of the role is being able to communicate clearly and professionally in Swedish in client-facing settings. This may involve leading workshops, presenting recommendations, writing reports, preparing decision support and helping both technical and business-oriented stakeholders understand risks, priorities and next steps.
The role suits you if you have solid experience of cybersecurity, enjoy client-facing assignments and want to combine senior advisory work with practical security delivery.
