Senior .NET / C# Developer

Do you want to be a driving force in an agile team developing new cloud services in AWS with a DevOps and Continuous Delivery mindset?

We are looking for a senior backend developer who wants to join us on our exciting journey - developing the next generation payroll system where our guiding star is automation and AI.

As a developer in the Payroller team, you will be a central part of a DevOps and Continuous Delivery team developing the next generation automated payroll calculation module, which is part of the Agda PS product line.

The team is responsible for the entire development chain - from requirements, business logic and architecture to testing, infrastructure, security and delivery. You will mainly work with backend development and business-critical logic, but the role offers plenty of scope to also work as a full-stack developer depending on your skills and interests.

As a senior developer you will:

• Further develop and optimise our services by developing improvements to functionality, building new features, fixing bugs and making technical improvements

• Take an active role in architectural decisions and technical choices

• Help set structure, standards and best practices

• Support more junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and mentoring

• Drive improvement initiatives in quality, performance and development processes

• Actively contribute ideas and experience on optimising our agentic AI workflow

In our team we have a high ceiling where everyone contributes to technical discussions, code reviews and joint decisions are a natural part of everyday work.

We work with modern technologies and tools and operate our services in AWS.

• ASP.NET / C#, Terraform, TypeScript, React, Selenium, Docker, DataDog

• Claude, Coderabbit

We are looking for you who have a solid background in backend development and who thrive in technically complex environments where you can combine depth with breadth.

We believe that you:

• Have several years of experience of backend development in cloud environments

• Have some experience of frontend/full-stack development

• Have worked with or have a strong interest in software architecture

• Are used to taking technical responsibility and making well-founded decisions

• Thrive in a role where you both contribute operationally and support others in the team

• Are curious and keep up to date with technology development, AI and tools

• Use AI in your daily work and see the potential of using AI to improve development, quality and pace

If you have previous experience of developing HR systems, payroll systems or financial systems, that is an extra plus.

You will become part of a competent and close-knit team - and at the same time part of the Visma group's developer community with thousands of developers and specialists.
