Senior Collection Operations & Process Manager

As Europe's largest digital parking operator, we run over 4,000 car parks with smart Freeflow camera systems. We are digitising the entire parking experience - from free parking spaces through paid parking to our own app platform.

If a process remains unpaid, we identify the vehicle keepers and handle the follow-up fairly and in a legally compliant manner.

As Senior Collection Operations & Process Manager (all genders), you are the operational and analytical heart of exactly these follow-up processes. You steer and optimise the European workflows, from the official vehicle keeper data queries through the sending of reminders to the interface with Customer Care and external debt collection partners.

What to expect

• Process ownership: You take on the strategic and operational overall responsibility for European debt collection, to drive the efficiency, legal compliance and scalability of vehicle keeper data identification (registration plate and address data).

• International workflows: You optimise our European workflows for vehicle keeper data identification and, when new local requirements or service provider changes arise, flexibly develop new processes and fallback options.

• Correspondence & automation: You are responsible for the internationalisation and continuous automation of the sending of payment requests and physical correspondence to vehicle keepers across the EU.

• Adapting payment processes: You strategically analyse international payment habits and align our collection processes optimally with monetisation in each target market.

• Compliance: You act as the internal expert for compliance with European data protection (GDPR) and debt collection regulations throughout the process.

• Interface & partner leadership: You act as the central sparring partner for Product, Tech, Legal and Customer Care, and you steer the negotiation and technical integration of external partners (postal service providers, debt collection agencies) from A to Z.

• Performance & optimisation: You analyse performance metrics, define process-specific KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Inspire us by

• Experience: You bring several years of solid professional experience in operational debt management, the debt collection environment, credit risk or operational process management - ideally within a rapidly scaling tech, FinTech or Legal Tech environment.

• Regulation & partner management: Sound knowledge of European data protection (GDPR) and debt collection regulations, as well as negotiation confidence and experience in managing international service providers and authorities.

• Analytical skills: Confident use of BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Metabase, as well as proven experience in defining and implementing process-specific KPIs.

• Enthusiasm for AI: Genuine curiosity about AI tools and the drive to use them to make collection processes smarter, faster and more efficient.

• Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Language skills: Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Nice-to-have

• Country-specific know-how: Proven practical experience in building cross-border B2C process structures

• Scaling: Proven experience in building and scaling processes when entering new markets.
