Partner Assignment at Prevas - Senior SW Engineer: C++ on Embedded Linux

Looking for an experienced Senior C++ developer, middleware, for a consulting assignment for a team developing advanced embedded applications in user space on Linux.

The development organisation consists of several software teams, where parts of the organisation work closely with the hardware on operating systems, platform development and integration, while the team to which this role belongs is responsible for application development and user-facing functionality.

You will work on developing applications and functions in a comprehensive software platform used across a broad product portfolio. The environment is technically advanced and it is important that you enjoy getting into complex systems and larger code bases.

Development takes place mainly in C++ on embedded Linux platforms. The team uses modern tools for planning, documentation and development and works in an agile way in close collaboration with other development teams. You need to be comfortable using AI tools in your development.

As a developer, you are expected to take responsibility for design, implementation and further development of functionality and to contribute to technical decisions and risk management. The role requires that you can work independently, drive activities forward and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

The work covers both further development of existing products, new functionality and development within new product initiatives.

Competence profile

• Several years of experience of development in C++

• Experience of application development on Embedded Linux in user space.

• Experience of complex software systems

• Experience of agile development methods

• Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility

• Good collaboration skills and experience of working in cross-functional teams

• Experience of operating systems for embedded systems such as, for example, real-time OS.

• Experience of requirements management, design and architecture

• Experience of Jira, Confluence or similar tools
  

Location: The assignment is carried out on site at the customer in the northern Stockholm area

Assignment length: As soon as possible-Permanent
Work on site 100%
