Expert Project Manager IBM Z Mainframe

Main responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate projects relating to IBM Z / Mainframe environments.

• Manage stakeholders (technical teams, business teams, suppliers).

• Lead the implementation of the Mainframe transformation roadmap.

• Organise and chair project committees and governance bodies.

• Ensure compliance with commitments on quality, costs and deadlines.

• Provide regular reporting to decision-makers and sponsors.

Desired profile

Technical skills

• Proven expertise in IBM Z / Mainframe environments.

• Significant experience in IT project management.

• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

• Strong communication and management skills.

• Fluent English essential, both spoken and written.

Interpersonal skills

• Leadership and the ability to unite technical teams and suppliers around common objectives.

• Excellent communication skills, with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to manage several topics in parallel in a complex and demanding environment.

• Organisational sense, rigour and methodology in project tracking.

• Analytical mind and ability to solve complex problems.

• Proactive in proposing ideas for transformation and continuous improvement projects.

Experience and education

• Minimum 8 years' experience as an IBM Z Mainframe Project Manager

• Experience gained in the Banking, Finance or Insurance sectors.

• Involvement in Mainframe transformation or modernisation programmes.
