As part of our growth, and to meet the specific needs of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior DevOps DBA SQL Server / PostgreSQL (F/M/X) for a strategic assignment.

Main responsibilities

As part of a transformation and modernisation programme for its information system, a major player is looking for a Senior DevOps DBA Consultant to ensure the operation, optimisation and evolution of critical database environments.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams on high availability, performance and migration to a hybrid On-Premise / Cloud architecture.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases in a production environment.

• Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of the platforms.

• Implement and maintain high availability architectures, notably under Patroni.

• Provide technical support and handle complex incidents.

• Contribute to the evolution and modernisation of data infrastructures.

• Contribute to the migration of SQL Server environments to hybrid architectures.

• Automate administration and deployment processes through DevOps practices.

• Collaborate with the Operations, Development, Architecture, QA and Release Management teams.

• Experience with VMware and Kubernetes.
