Careers at House of Control
Required skills
About the role
Translated into English from Swedish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
If you are driven by creating new customer dialogues, curious about what is truly important to the customer, and thrive best when sales are about solving a real business need, then we should have a chat!
We are now looking for a Senior Account Executive for our sales team in Stockholm, who wants to help take our new product to market.
For twenty years, House of Control has helped businesses gain control over their contracts, and now we are taking the next step with James. Regulations such as NIS2 and DORA impose increasingly stringent requirements on how businesses manage suppliers, risk, and documentation, and for many, it is both complex and time-consuming to maintain oversight and ensure compliance. James is the AI agent in our new AI-native solution that helps our customers find, understand, monitor, and act on information related to contracts, compliance, and supplier risk. James captures changes, risks, and obligations and highlights what requires attention, so our customers are always one step ahead.
About the role and what a typical day might look like
With us, you will build a significant part of your pipeline yourself through active prospecting, with good support from the marketing department, an experienced sales team, and the rest of the organisation. You will work with solutions in contract management, lease accounting (IFRS 16 and FRS 102), and compliance, and engage with both specialists and decision-makers in finance, security, legal, and compliance.
In your daily work, you will:
have advisory dialogues about real challenges and risks faced by the customer
use AI tools as a natural part of the sales process, from research and prospecting to follow-up
own the entire sales process from first contact to signed agreement
What we are looking for
The most important thing for us is that you enjoy taking initiative and seeking out new customers. Much else you can learn with us, together with the rest of the team.
In addition, we believe you will thrive if you recognise yourself in any of the following:
you quickly grasp complex issues and are comfortable engaging with decision-makers at the C-level
you are curious about new technology and use AI as a natural tool in your sales work
you are independent and structured, and drive your own processes from start to signature
you have knowledge of or interest in lease accounting (IFRS 16 and FRS 102) or compliance (DORA and NIS2)
you have a post-secondary education in finance, economics, IT, cybersecurity, or similar, or equivalent knowledge gained through work
The last two points are an advantage, not a requirement, and you do not need to identify with everything to apply. We care more about what you can achieve and what you want to learn than about a 'perfect CV'.
What you will get with us
You will enter a phase where much is still being shaped, with a short path from idea to implementation and a real opportunity to influence how we take James to market. At House of Control, there is a fast pace, high ambitions, and employees who are eager to challenge how things have been done before.
You will help shape the product, not just the sales. James is new, and much is still open. Through customer dialogues, you will gain insight into what customers are actually struggling with, what they are asking about, and what they do not understand, and you will help shape how the product develops further. The path from a customer conversation to a change in the product is short with us. You are not just selling what we have built; you are helping to decide what we build.
We are around 80 employees, and you will be an important part of a development-oriented team. We bounce ideas off each other, support one another, and share what works. You own your own customers, but you are not alone in them, and different backgrounds and perspectives make us better.
House of Control is a company with short decision-making paths, and at the same time part of one of Europe's largest software environments, Visma. You will have access to networks, courses, and colleagues across Visma companies, while also having good opportunities for both professional development and continued career. Additionally, you will be part of a larger social environment with joint gatherings and events across the companies, so you get the closeness and belonging of a small team, while also having the opportunities and community that come with being part of something larger.
We offer a flexible and hybrid work environment in new premises at Västra Järnvägsgatan 7. Good pension and insurance solutions through Visma.
Application
We review applications on an ongoing basis and wish to fill the position as soon as possible, but we are happy to wait for the right candidate. If you have questions about the role, please contact Petter Wolden, Head of Sales, at phone [contact details removed] or [contact details removed].
