Introduction
Circulating all value, expanding everyone's potential
“With limited Earth resources, what can we do to create a more prosperous society?” In 2013, the flea market app “Mercari” was born from the awareness of issues founder Shintaro Yamada developed during his trip around the world. We believe that by circulating all value, not limited to physical goods and money, we can help everyone realise what they want to do and increase the options for contributing to people and society.
Connecting people across the world through the power of technology, we will create a world where the potential of every person can be realised. For the direction the Mercari Group aims for, please see the Mercari Culture Doc.
Team Mission / Responsibilities
As part of the People Planning function, we design an environment where employees can take on challenges and deliver their maximum performance, embodying Mercari's four values through evaluation and compensation strategy, labour relations and employee experience across the whole company (including executives).
Working closely with management and each business HRBP, our mission is to support the sustainable growth of the entire Mercari Group by designing and operating data-driven evaluation and compensation systems that emphasise employee growth and fairness.
Furthermore, as Mercari drives its transformation into an AI-Native Company, you will also play an important role in creating new ways of working using technology, and compensation and evaluation systems aligned with how results are defined.
Through these initiatives, we aim for human capital management that maximises added value to the business and management results.
