Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer GCP / Kubernetes

As part of our growth and to meet the specific needs of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer GCP / Kubernetes for a strategic assignment.

• Design, deploy and optimise Cloud infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in a hybrid, business-critical environment.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Jenkins.

• Administer and operate Kubernetes and Docker environments, particularly in hybrid Cloud architectures.

• Implement DevOps, GitOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

• Ensure the operational maintenance of platforms and contribute to their availability and reliability.

• Deploy and optimise monitoring, observability and alerting systems with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and GCP tools.

• Automate operational tasks using Python and Ansible.

• Contribute to securing infrastructures, notably through secrets management with Vault.

• Work closely with the Infrastructure, DevOps and Application teams in a Big Data and Artificial Intelligence context.

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and significant experience in hybrid Cloud environments.

• Very strong command of Kubernetes and Docker; experience with OpenShift and/or OpenStack is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure automation and management.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

• Good command of DevOps, GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Skills in Python scripting and automation with Ansible.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and GCP Observability.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL and Data Cloud architectures.

• Proficiency or knowledge of Vault and secrets management best practices.

• Strong autonomy and ability to take ownership of complex technical environments.

• Analytical mind and ability to diagnose and resolve production incidents.

• Rigour in applying operational, automation and security best practices.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and share expertise.

• Proactivity and a sense of responsibility in a business-critical environment.

• Significant experience in Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud engineering, with confirmed senior-level expertise.

• Practical experience operating and automating Cloud platforms in production.

• Experience with highly available environments and hybrid Cloud architectures.

• Higher education in IT or equivalent professional experience.

• Availability to work on site in Montpellier three days per week.

• Ability to take part in an on-call rota.
