Why this job is for you

We are looking for you who are an experienced embedded developer and are interested in working on projects ranging from classic embedded development to the future of solutions within device to cloud - an area in which we are growing.

Responsibilities

You will become part of the Software & Cloud business area, where in Gothenburg we are around 180 skilled and committed colleagues. We work across a breadth of assignments, from hardware-near development in real-time systems to architecture and system integration with the cloud.

You will get to work on projects that suit your experience and interests, in our in-house teams or at the customer's site. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to take part in and contribute to the development of our device to cloud initiative.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of embedded software in C/C++

  • System integration between embedded devices and cloud platforms

  • Requirements management, architecture, testing and quality assurance

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams in software, hardware and cloud

For those who are curious, there are also good opportunities to try working in Norway.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with solid embedded experience, who enjoys working both broadly and technically in depth. To thrive in this role, you need around 10 years of experience or more in embedded development, primarily in C/C++. We also believe that you have:

  • A Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent

  • Professional proficiency in English, spoken and written, Swedish is a strong merit

It is meritorious if you also have experience of:

  • Embedded Linux and real-time OS

  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and edge-to-cloud integration

  • Safety-critical standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21434)

  • CI/CD and modern embedded toolchains

  • Cyber and cloud security for connected systems

  • Requirements management, system design and testing

  • Real-time systems and hardware-near development

  • Projects within automotive, medtech, defence or other regulated industries

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We believe that you are curious, collaborative and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
