What do we value?

We are looking for a professional with a solid track record in software engineering and technical leadership, who has moved towards defining and implementing solutions based on Artificial Intelligence.

• At least 10 years of experience in software development and technical leadership, with a solid foundation in Java environments and enterprise architectures. Profiles from other technology stacks will also be considered.

• Experience as a Technical Lead, Software Architect or Solutions Architect, taking part in the design, estimation, risk management and implementation of complex solutions.

• Several years of experience leading Artificial Intelligence initiatives, especially in Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent agents, conversational assistants and enterprise AI platforms.

• Ability to combine a solid software engineering foundation with the design and leadership of AI-based architectures.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and working in agile environments.

• Ability to define technology strategies and drive the adoption of new technologies and architectures.

• Experience in technical pre-sales, leading PoCs, preparing proposals and defending solutions in front of clients.

• Communication and liaison skills at technical, executive and business levels.

• Innovative mindset, initiative and ability to lead new ways of working, organisation and technological evolution.

What would your responsibilities be?

• Technical Leadership in AI: Define, design and lead the implementation of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, LLMs and advanced architectures, ensuring their scalability, quality, security and alignment with business needs.

• Technology Strategy and Innovation: Take part in defining the company's overall technology strategy together with the Technology Communities, identifying innovation opportunities, promoting the adoption of new technologies and leading differentiating initiatives around AI.

• Technical Leadership in High-Value Services: Technically lead strategic projects, taking part in solution design, estimations, risk management and architectural decision-making to ensure the success of initiatives.

• Technical Pre-Sales and Business Development: Collaborate with sales teams by leading PoCs, reviewing proposals, evaluating technology partners, giving executive presentations and technically defending solutions in front of clients.

• Architecture and Technology Governance: Define reference architectures, standards, good practices and governance models that enable the building of robust, maintainable solutions aligned with the organisation's technology strategy.

• Team Leadership and Development: Drive new ways of working, promote technical excellence, mentor other professionals and foster the development of high-performing teams.

• Communication and Technology Positioning: Take part in training, mentoring, events, content creation, technical marketing and outreach activities that contribute to the company's technology positioning and brand.

• Cross-Community Collaboration: Work across different areas and technology communities to share knowledge, create synergies and accelerate the adoption of new capabilities and innovative solutions.

In addition, we would very much value experience and/or knowledge in:

• Having progressed from Senior Developer, Technical Lead or Java Architect positions towards technical leadership responsibilities in Artificial Intelligence.

• Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, autonomous agents, MCPs and enterprise AI platforms.

• Cloud architectures and scalable AI-based solutions.

• AI governance, Responsible AI and regulatory, legal and ethical frameworks related to Artificial Intelligence.

• Defining AI adoption strategies in large organisations.

• Leading high-performing technical teams.

• Taking part in events, technical communities, training and mentoring.

• Certifications related to Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence or agile methodologies.
