About the role
We are looking for an artificial intelligence solutions architecture consultant to define, design and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade AI and generative AI solutions.
This strategic role bridges business vision, solution architecture and advanced AI technologies to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant and aligned with organisational objectives.

Role and responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture of AI and generative AI solutions, from defining use cases through to production deployment
- Design cloud-native AI architectures built on modern data, ML and LLM platforms
- Define reference architectures, design patterns and best practices for enterprise-scale AI adoption
- Evaluate and select AI platforms, foundation models and tools based on business value, risks and costs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and executives to identify high-value AI opportunities
- Translate business needs into clear solution designs, including trade-offs and roadmaps
- Design AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and AWS SageMaker
- Ensure alignment with cloud governance, security, privacy and regulatory compliance requirements
- Provide architectural oversight, lead design reviews and mentor delivery teams
- Embed responsible AI principles, risk management, monitoring and lifecycle management into designs
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- More than 8 years' experience in solutions architecture or senior technical roles, including at least 4 years delivering AI/ML solutions
- Excellent understanding of machine learning, generative AI and LLM-based architectures
- Proven experience designing AI solutions on AWS, notably with AWS SageMaker and AWS Bedrock
- Strong expertise in cloud architectures, APIs, microservices and event-driven systems
- Ability to reconcile technical depth with business, risk and regulatory considerations
- Experience with LLM platforms, RAG architectures and AI agent systems
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, model monitoring and AI solution lifecycle management
- Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
- Experience in consulting or solutions architecture in a client context
