Head of Group Accounting & Reporting

For our group we are looking for a Head of Group Accounting & Reporting at one of our locations, with the option of mobile working, who will take on responsibility and actively shape further development.

WHAT YOU DO WITH US

• Leading and developing the Group Accounting team as well as the regional finance and shared service units
• Responsibility for monthly financial reporting, consolidated financial statements under IFRS, group-wide accounting policies and the internal control system (ICS)
• Managing treasury, liquidity and cash flow planning, and acting as the central point of contact for the CFO, banks, auditors, tax advisers and other relevant stakeholders
• Further development and harmonisation of finance processes, accounting standards, and allocation and transfer pricing structures, including support for budgeting and forecasting processes
• Active involvement in M&A, post-merger integration and strategic finance projects, including ERP transformations, cash pooling and the integration of newly acquired companies

HOW YOU WILL INSPIRE US

• A completed degree in business administration, ideally complemented by experience in auditing
• Several years of solid experience in accounting, consolidation and IFRS consolidated financial statements, preferably in a medium-sized business environment
• Several years of management experience, as well as strong communication skills and enjoyment of developing high-performing teams
• Analytical and systems thinking, and a hands-on mentality for the sustainable optimisation and scaling of processes and structures
• Business-fluent German and English skills, as well as a positive, committed and design-oriented personality
