Let's build a sustainable future together

At WSP, we help transform regions sustainably. By joining one of the world's leading engineering firms, you take part in ambitious missions across transport, infrastructure, buildings, the environment, water, energy and industry.

Our strength lies in combining a local presence, recognised technical expertise and an international network to devise sustainable and innovative solutions in response to climate, societal and technological challenges.

Your mission: contributing to projects that matter

As part of the development of our Infrastructure & Transport business line, we are looking for a Project Manager for Automation, Supervision and Systems, based in Lyon, to manage projects predominantly involving high-current power in the field of transport infrastructure.

You will join the Mobility Systems and Engineering BU (TSIM), within the ITS entity and the Energy / Ventilation department. You will be involved in particular in:

  • infrastructure projects in underground, road, rail, port or guided transport environments;

  • missions of expertise, consulting and design management.

Your responsibilities

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

· Manage LV/HV (CFO) and/or multidisciplinary projects from design through to commissioning, in line with quality, cost, schedule and safety objectives.

· Define and validate technical solutions: electrical architectures, power balances, HV/LV distribution, protection, backup power supply, generators and UPS systems.

· Coordinate studies and technical interfaces with other disciplines: LV power (CFA), automation, HVAC, civil engineering, architecture and equipment.

· Manage the production of technical deliverables: calculation notes, specifications, diagrams, synoptics, drawings and tender documents.

· Coordinate the various project stakeholders: internal teams, clients, suppliers, partners, contractors and subcontractors.

· Manage contractual and financial control: monitoring budget, schedule, risks, changes and additional works.

· Supervise implementation, testing and commissioning, ensuring installations comply with contractual requirements and applicable standards.

Your future team:

You will join a multidisciplinary and expert team of around 35 people, working in energy, ventilation-smoke extraction, safety, mobility studies, systems and low-current fields. Collaboration with WSP's different disciplines, in France and internationally, is an integral part of the role.

Our culture: we prioritise transparency, trust and mutual support to create an environment where everyone can express themselves, contribute and see their ideas valued.

The Visioneer you are: every journey is unique

At WSP, we seek curious, committed talents motivated by meaningful projects. Whatever your level of experience, you will find a stimulating environment here to develop your skills, share your ideas and build a career path that suits you.

This role is for you if you recognise yourself in the following criteria:

  • Minimum Bac+5 qualification, at engineering or Master's level, or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • At least 10 years' experience managing design or construction follow-up projects in high-current or low-current fields, ideally applied to transport and infrastructure.

  • Ability to communicate with technical contacts and decision-makers, understand their challenges and propose suitable solutions.

  • Rigour, flexibility, organisational skills and strong analytical and synthesis abilities.

  • Excellent written and spoken command of French and English.

What this role will bring you:

This opportunity will allow you to manage complex, highly technical projects, deepen your expertise in CFO and systems, lead multidisciplinary teams and develop within an international engineering group.

With a solid track record, you want to continue tackling technical challenges through complex and meaningful projects. In this role, you will bring your expertise, promote knowledge sharing and help strengthen the technical quality of our work within multidisciplinary teams.
