Where will you land?

Within the GCC Group, the Engineering and Technical Department is a true in-house design office serving our agencies and subsidiaries.

Its mission is to provide reliable and responsive technical support to the works teams, securing projects and optimising every stage of their delivery.

Each year, the team, made up of around fifty experts, leads or supports more than 300 projects thanks to its many areas of expertise in project management, structure, energy, environment, BIM and site methods.

Reporting to the Head of the CET Department, the Head of Fluids Group is responsible for the CVC and plumbing packages. He supports the various price-estimating and works design units of the Group. He enables the general contractor to better control the technical packages and to respond more quickly in exchanges between the project owner, architects, design offices and subcontracting companies, both in the upstream phase and in the design and execution phases. He is the department's preferred point of contact for the agencies.

The role: Head of Fluids Design Group - CVC Plumbing

Reporting line: under the authority of the Head of the CET Department

Fully autonomous, you may be asked to manage a team of price-estimating engineers and technicians and ensure the technical and financial reliability of the GO/TCE studies for all or part of a complex and/or large-scale project.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the tender, from the kick-off meeting through to signature or execution of the contract.

• Coordinate and define the role of all fluids stakeholders on the project.

• Check regulatory compliance on all types of project (accessibility, fire safety, ERP, car parks, compliance of building permits with the PLU, etc.).

• Carry out quantity take-offs for the packages concerned.

• Work on technical and programme optimisations.

• Look for alternative solutions and optimise costs.

• Organise bid submissions.

• Take part in closing out projects.

Occasional travel is to be expected.

Apply if:

• Higher education qualification as an engineer or equivalent.

• Minimum 7 years' experience in a general contractor or technical design office.

• Mastery of the CVC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) and plumbing packages.

• Good knowledge of standards and regulations (RT, RE2020, DTU, sanitary standards...).

• Ability to analyse price studies and technical files.

• Experience in design and/or execution of projects within a general contractor.
