🤝 Your role: SAP expert at the heart of Retail challenges

As a Retail Functional Architect, you are the expert point of reference for delaware's SAP solution in the Retail sector. This covers mass retail, specialist retail, fashion and luxury, beauty and omnichannel commerce.

You build and evolve offers, notably around FAST-Retail. You secure the solution content of proposals and embody solution credibility with clients and teams.

You work in tandem with the Vertical Leaders. You collaborate closely with sales, pre-sales, architecture and delivery teams to accelerate the development of the SAP Retail solution in France and Europe.

🎯 Your main responsibilities

Solution expertise & offer construction

• Be the point of reference for the SAP solution for Retail and closely monitor the sector's challenges and developments.

• Build, structure and evolve offers tailored to Retail challenges:

  • article and assortment management;

  • pricing & promotions;

  • allocation and replenishment;

  • supply chain and warehouses;

  • omnichannel and store/till (POS) integration;

  • e-commerce;

  • customer data and analytics.

• Capitalise on lessons learned, assets and demonstrations (including FAST-Retail) to industrialise the solution response.

• Ensure technology watch and innovation around the solution: SAP S/4HANA Retail & Fashion, Customer Activity Repository, SAP Commerce Cloud, IBP, EWM, BTP, AI.

Pre-sales & solution Go-to-Market

• Contribute to responses to tenders and secure the functional content of proposals.

• Deliver solution demonstrations and build pre-sales kits.

• Ensure costing and the Go-to-Market of the solution.

• Smooth the handover from pre-sales to delivery.

• Maintain presales relations with vendors and maintain certifications.

Leadership & community facilitation

• Engage and lead the internal Retail community.

• Work in tandem with the Industry Leads to turn a sales opportunity into a coherent proposal.

• Share good practices, lessons learned and solution innovations.

• Collaborate with sales teams, bid management, architects, delivery and delaware International.

🧭 Are you the person we are looking for?

Experience & background

• Confirmed SAP expert in Retail (mass retail, specialist retail, fashion & luxury, beauty, e-commerce).

• Solid experience in complex pre-sales, costing and solution demonstrations.

• Good understanding of Retail business challenges:

  • article and assortment management;

  • pricing & promotions;

  • allocation and replenishment;

  • logistics;

  • omnichannel and store operations.

• Confirmed expert profile.

Key skills

• Mastery of the SAP solution: S/4HANA Retail / Fashion Management and dedicated modules (SD, MM, Commerce, Customer Activity Repository).

• Demonstration and costing capability.

• Structuring of functional offers.

• Teaching ability and vendor relations.

• Interpersonal ease to work in tandem with Industry Leads and across teams.

• Ability to work in an international environment.

• Fluent English essential.
