About the role

Translated into English from Spanish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

The challenge: helping us build the next knowmad mood

knowmad mood is entering a new stage.

We are a multinational technology group specialising in digital transformation, with more than 3,500 professionals, more than 1,000 clients and more than 30 years of history.

In recent years we have gone from being a fundamentally Spanish company to building a genuinely international, multi-specialist group, combining organic growth with acquisitions.

Today we operate in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, with a presence in:

Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, United States, Morocco, India, Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru, as well as continuing to develop our presence in other markets such as Brazil.

Spain remains, by far, our main operation: it accounts for a very significant part of our professionals, our business and our capabilities. At the same time, the international weight of the Group is growing rapidly and we want to accelerate that evolution.

Companies with different cultures, capabilities and histories have joined our organic growth: New Verve Consulting in the United Kingdom, Incipy, Interwor, Grupo Antea, Vanture ESS and BUZZ in Spain, ASERVO -today knowmad mood Germany- and MuniConS in Germany and, more recently, CDA Informática, our largest acquisition to date and a particularly important step in the development of knowmad mood in Latin America.

And we want to keep growing.

That growth changes the nature of the People challenge.

We have a culture we are proud of, which has been an important part of our growth. Now we need to preserve the best of it while building something new: a Group culture capable of connecting companies, countries, teams and different ways of working around a common identity.

That is why we are looking for a Global Head of People & Culture.

The role will have responsibility for People & Culture across the whole knowmad mood Group, although given its scale and weight within the organisation it will have a particularly significant focus on Spain.

We are not simply looking for the person who runs Human Resources.

We are looking for someone who will help us build the organisation knowmad mood needs for its next stage.

Your mission

Lead and evolve the People & Culture strategy of knowmad mood, driving both the operational excellence of People, especially in Spain, and the progressive building of a global model for the whole Group.

You will work directly with the CEO, Group Management, Country Managers and business leaders, leading a People team and acting as a strategic partner on the company's main growth and transformation challenges.

Your responsibility will cover defining the talent and culture strategy, developing leaders and organisational capabilities, integrating acquired companies, talent mobility across countries and businesses, and consolidating a common identity combining global coherence with local autonomy.

The objective will be twofold: to make People work better every day and build the global organisation we will need tomorrow, supporting the evolution of knowmad mood into an international group that is increasingly connected, scalable and people-oriented.

What will you build?

  • Define and lead the People & Culture strategy for Spain and the Group, driving the professionalisation, scalability and evolution of the organisation, balancing a common global identity with the autonomy of each business and country.

  • Strengthen and evolve the corporate culture, preserving the closeness, agility and people orientation that characterise knowmad mood, reinforcing the sense of belonging and building a shared culture at international level.

  • Lead the People dimension in M&A and integration processes, facilitating the incorporation of new companies, teams and cultures, designing integration models that enhance collaboration and enrich the identity of the Group.

  • Drive talent and leadership development, evolving performance models, career plans, training, succession and management development, with a particular focus on managers and key professionals.

  • Promote talent mobility and internal growth, facilitating opportunities between companies, projects and geographies, and contributing to the building of a genuine global internal talent market.

  • Ensure the operational excellence of People, overseeing the main people management processes: employee lifecycle, performance, development, training, engagement, employee experience, compensation, benefits, People Operations and People Analytics.

  • Act as a strategic partner to the business, working closely with the CEO, Management, Country Managers and business leaders to anticipate organisational, leadership and talent needs, supporting decision-making through data analysis and People insights.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a professional with solid experience leading People & Culture / Human Resources functions in complex organisations, preferably in technology companies, multinationals, listed companies, high-growth environments or groups built through acquisitions.

Experience in the following areas is essential:

  • Management of People, Talent or Human Resources areas.

  • Leadership, development and management of teams.

  • HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Performance, Learning & Development, Engagement, Culture and People Operations.

  • Design, transformation and scaling of People models.

  • Cultural transformation and change management.

  • Development of managers, leadership and talent planning.

  • People Analytics and data-driven decision-making.

  • International and multicultural environments.

  • Direct collaboration with CEOs, management teams and business stakeholders.

  • Bilingual professional level in Spanish and English.

  • Experience working in international environments with multicultural teams.

Experience in the following areas will be especially valued:

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes.

  • Post-acquisition integrations.

  • Cultural integration of companies.

  • Building global People models from initially local organisations.

Key competencies

  • Builder mindset and orientation towards transformation.

  • Global vision and ability to operate in multi-company and multi-country environments.

  • Pragmatism in balancing structure, growth and agility.

  • Ability to influence and build consensus at different levels of the organisation.

  • Strong business orientation and understanding of growth, talent and organisational challenges.

  • International sensitivity and ability to build a common culture while respecting the particularities of each country and company.
