Senior Test Automation Engineer

About the role
As Senior Test Automation Engineer you will work in a leading role where you are responsible for designing, implementing and further developing modern test automation solutions. You will become an important part of creating effective testing processes and contributing to a high degree of automation throughout the development flow.

You will, among other things:

• Design and develop automated test environments and test strategies

• Build and further develop CI/CD flows linked to test automation

• Automate testing processes and quality assurance in complex development environments

• Drive improvement and transformation initiatives within the testing area

• Work closely with development, DevOps and product teams to ensure high delivery quality

• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools and ways of working within test automation

We believe you have
We are looking for someone who is confident in their expertise and who enjoys combining technical work with greater responsibility for quality and development.

We would especially like you to have:

• A university or master's degree in engineering or a relevant field, or equivalent experience

• At least eight years of experience in test automation

• Experience of building and maintaining automated test environments

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD and automated test flows

• Experience of Java- or Python-based test frameworks

• Experience from larger transformation or modernisation projects

• Familiarity with working in agile development environments and cross-functional teams

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious
It is particularly interesting if you also have experience of:

• AI-based solutions in testing and quality assurance

• Test strategy, test management or quality work at organisational level

• Coaching or supporting teams in test automation and quality assurance
