Senior AI Engineer - AI Accelerator

Our AI Accelerator is recruiting an AI Engineer (f/m/d) based in Lille or Paris.

The AI Accelerator team sits at the heart of Decathlon's digital transformation. Our challenge for 2026: move from experimentation to massive usage value in record time. We are recruiting to speed up the creation of intelligent prototypes (GenAI, Agents) capable of revolutionising the experience of our athletes and our teammates. Joining our team means joining a passionate collective that cultivates "doing together", with weekly co-design rituals and real autonomy to test cutting-edge technologies.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION 

As part of an agile team of 8 experts, you will be responsible for turning complex business problems into concrete demonstrators (PoC/MVP). You will not just code; you will be the bridge between business needs and the capabilities of AI. Your mission will be to continuously improve the team's velocity by defining rapid prototyping standards while ensuring that every solution is designed for future industrialisation on a global scale.

TECHNICAL STACK

• Languages: Python (expertise required), SQL.

• AI/ML: Agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, Autogen), LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral), Vector Databases.

• Tools: Git, Cloud (GCP/Azure), Spec-Driven Development (SDD) tools, Docker.

• Your recent experiences have allowed you to develop expertise in Data Science and ML Engineering, with a marked interest in agentic systems.
• You master the art of rapid prototyping ("Vibe coding") without sacrificing code structure.
• Your "Business Partner" mindset allows you to challenge current processes to propose AI designs that create value.
• You are recognised for your empathy, your active listening skills with end users and your willingness to share your learnings with the tech community.
