Job&Talent France is recruiting on a temporary employment contract, for its client in the catering sector, a Head Chef in LE MANS.

Position to be filled as soon as possible, depending on the client's needs.

Your main responsibilities

• Organise and supervise culinary production in line with recipes and quality standards.

• Prepare and check starters, main courses and desserts.

• Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team on a daily basis.

• Manage supplies, stock and orders of raw ingredients.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene rules, food safety and the HACCP method.

• Check the quality, presentation and conformity of dishes served.

• Take part in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and the kitchen.

Working hours

• Working time: 07:00 to 15:00, i.e. 35 hours per week

• Working days: Monday to Friday

• No weekend work

• Paid CET at 10%

Desired profile 

• You hold a culinary qualification and have significant experience as a head chef or sous chef.

• Experience in coordinating and managing teams in catering is essential.

• You master culinary techniques, the organisation of a brigade and stock management.

• Knowledge and application of HACCP standards are essential.

• You are organised, creative, responsive and have a sense of teamwork.

• You know how to manage priorities and maintain a quality service in a dynamic environment.
