Your Role

As Senior/Principal Group Accounting Manager, you actively shape the further development of our IFRS Financial Reporting (reporting has recently been switched from HGB to IFRS) and take the lead in preparing the consolidated financial statements under IFRS. You work on the consolidation of our group companies, optimise universal finance processes and act as the point of contact for external auditors and consultants. In this key role, you make a decisive contribution to the financial scaling and future viability of the FINN Group.

Your Mission

  • Consolidated financial statements: You prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS, including the notes.

  • IFRS Framework & Policies: You shape the further development of our IFRS Financial Reporting as well as the group-wide enforcement of uniform accounting policies (in particular IFRS 16: Leases and IFRS 9: Financial Instruments).

  • Consolidation: You take responsibility for the consolidation of all group companies (in LucaNet) and drive the automation and improvement of our processes.

  • Audit & External Stakeholders: You work with international audit firms, regulatory authorities and external consultants and confidently represent the FINN Group on IFRS audit and accounting matters.

  • Specialist Advice & Governance: You advise interdisciplinary teams on all complex accounting and reporting questions under IFRS. You also contribute to various projects.

Your Profile

    Must-have:

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics (or equivalent) with a focus on finance, accounting or auditing.

  • Solid professional experience at a reputable audit firm (Big4 is a plus) or in group accounting / group financial reporting at an international group / scale-up.

  • Comprehensive excellence and proven expertise in the accounting treatment of IFRS.

  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken (C1/C2 level), as well as strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Nice-to-have:

  • Practical experience in introducing IFRS in a leading or advisory role.

  • Extensive user experience with LucaNet. Experience with SAP S4 Hana is a plus.

  • Experience with ABS structures
