Where will you land?

GCC Occitanie carries out bespoke construction projects, public or private, new-build or renovated, across all building sectors: industry, public facilities, offices, healthcare, shopping centres, … locally and regionally. Come and take part in or lead projects worth €3M to €25M}, in {general contracting and/or design-build} on {new-build, rehabilitation and/or major restructuring} works.

What you will face: highly technical sites (enough to keep you thinking), strong environmental impacts, short chains of command, rapid decisions, autonomy and accountability.

The position: Construction Group Manager

Based in: Montpellier (34)

Reporting line: under the authority of an Operations Director

A true unifying manager, you take responsibility for a major operation or several significant operations, and become the final guarantor of the technical, financial and commercial choices on your sites.

What you will do with us:

• Validate the market file analysis, the technical processes with the design offices (structure, inspection, methods), the execution programme and the PIC.

• Seek out and arbitrate variants that improve the financial performance of your operations; provide constant support to your teams on site.

• Alert your management to any technical or financial risk identified on your operations.

• Settle disputes with subcontractors, administratively and legally manage claims arising during works, and define the claims strategy.

• Validate the execution budget and determine each month the forecast result and the final result of your operations, for which you are accountable.

• Manage the client relationship alongside the salesperson attached to your unit and the pricing office; feed back commercial information.

• Hold disciplinary authority over your teams and conduct the annual reviews of your engineers, site managers and principal site managers.

• As a delegated officer for prevention matters, validate the legal and regulatory compliance of the technical processes on your operations.
